One of a kind Christmas Tree dish made for a holiday party. I used a combination of glass, confetti and frit to create the effects including a dichroic star. The dish measures 10.5 x7".

Thanks so much. I like playing with different ways to use glass. Up close the tree looks almost 3d. I'm glad you enjoy my glass musings.

It's base of glass, then fine frit topped with confetti the same color as the frit. I break the confettie into smaller pieces to get the 3d effect. I then topped the tree area with crystal clear medium frit which makes it look like the tree is glowing. It was a fun project

The shimmer certainly comes out in the photo, although it must be even more sparkly in real life. I never knew you could use confetti in glass... then again, I never knew anything about glassmaking till you explained :) Thanks, Guenna
