knot work is the lido circle thing at the bottom. its celtic. if you know what irish step dancing is (riverdance or lord of the dance) they have them on there traditional costumes, to wear at performances and competitions
um, iuno if it was like used to tell storys or whatnot, but itscool. google it ^^

Thanks.....It's the gold celtic knot near the bottom. It was fired onto the glass for permanance.
